Walk with Walsh at Serenbe with Kari Pei

As Vice President of Product Development for Interface, Kari Pei, aesthetic is everything. More importantly for Kari, it is the implementation of natural design and nature elements when possible.

I have been a fan of Kari’s work for quite a long time but I tried to keep cool during this interview. She shared so many incredible words of wisdom when it comes to our health and well being and its direct correlation to our indoor environment. We are spending over 90% of our time indoors and away from nature so it is import that we infuse as much nature into our indoor spaces.

Kari has such an illustrious career in design and to hear her speak about what she loves most, well, you can hear that it all comes from her heart. Her words about work are almost melodic at times because of her passion for what she does.

I also love that nature moved her so much in her work that she wanted to be closer to it so she chooses to spend a lot of her time right at Serenbe. Splitting her time when possible between NYC and Serenbe sounds like the best of both worlds and I might have to follow her lead!
